I stumbled across this article on SI.com today. Hank Aaron - the current all-time home run leader in MLB - has basically said that he won't be anywhere near the ballpark when Barry Bonds breaks his home run record. The best part is that he's not doing it as some sort of protest against the steroids thing, but because he doesn't want to deal with that kind of shit anymore. He just wants to be "at peace with himself". I think my favorite quote is towards the end of the article when he says, "I'm 72 years old, I'm not hopping on a plane and flying all the way to San Francisco for anybody."
The Home Run King doesn't bow to anyone.
