I went to the Cubs game last night. A friend of Dee's organized it for her birthday celebration. I haven't been feeling well, so I wasn't too excited to go to the game. Plus, I hate baseball.
Anyway, the Cubs jumped out to an early 4-1 lead in the first when someone hit a home run. They added a few more runs before Colorado tacked on a couple to make it 6-3. That's when I left. Like I said - I wasn't feeling well and I have a long week ahead of me so I wanted to get the hell out and try to get some sleep. Plus, the people around me were making it very hard for me to see the game. We were sitting on the far side of the aisle from home plate. Between the vendors constantly standing there and the people around me getting in the way because they came to socialize, I saw maybe two plays.
I'm not upset, though. I wouldn't have watched the damn game at all if I didn't have tickets, so I really didn't miss anything. Besides, it's baseball - Cubs baseball.
